As some of you are aware, we have unfortunately experienced delays and cancellations with flights to and from Pangnirtung, Nunavut this past month. These delays and cancellations have largely been due to extremely poor weather conditions out of our control in the form of high winds and cross winds that have prevented us from operating safely. The safety of our passengers and our crew is our first priority and we must ensure safe operations are possible for all. We do however understand our role as an essential airline and link for the community, we know the community depends on us for food and resources as well as medical travel appointments. We are doing everything we can by adding capacity and are looking to add flights to make up for the weather cancellations as much as possible. We have attempted to do so throughout the month and have unfortunately had weather cancellations on some of these recovery legs. We will continue to do what we can to increase capacity on the route to compensate for the weather cancellations. We understand this has been difficult and hope to recover all freight and passenger flights as soon as possible.
