The next generation of aviation and engineering professionals are impressive, so we tried to impress them right back!
A group of students from the Lisgar Collegiate Institute who are part of the Centre for Advanced Research and Training in Aerospace, Mobility and Space (CARTAMS) program that we take part in came to visit the Canadian North hangar in Ottawa. Our Director of Inuit Employment, Jason Kilabuk, guided them through the facility with an entertaining and educational tour after reviewing all the safety protocols.
The students were able to sit in a flight deck, explore the inner design of a fuselage without any interior furnishings and take in all the sights and sounds of our hangar. Thank you to the Canada Aviation and Space Museum for coordinating this event and featuring Canadian North for these gifted students! We can’t wait to recruit them to work for us!
