The Inuvik Sunrise Festival took place January 10-12, welcoming and celebrating the first sunrise after 30 days of darkness in the region.
Canadian North is the official airline sponsor of the three-day party and provided a prize for a lucky festival attendee.
The event was a celebration of local culture, featuring local food, dance, music, artisan markets, cultural workshops, snow & ice sculptures, indoor & outdoor family activities, and a large fireworks display on the Saturday night.
