Canadian North is pleased to advise that effective immediately, we have resumed accepting all northbound freight shipments from Ottawa and Iqaluit to the Baffin communities.
We had temporarily paused non-essential shipments due to the blizzard that had impacted people and businesses across Iqaluit. In our case, this blizzard and the recovery that followed contributed to a significant backlog of freight in our Ottawa and Iqaluit warehouses.
We have now resolved this backlog and have resumed normal operations. Thank you to all our customers for your patience and understanding.
