Notice: Re-opening Cargo Drop-off Services for Essential Goods in Iqaluit and Ottawa

April 20, 2021 – Our cargo and baggage handling operations in Iqaluit continue to operate at a reduced level of capacity. While we have been moving more cargo shipments in the last couple of days, we are still not able provide services at a normal scale. We thank all of our customers for their patience and cooperation as we do everything possible to ship as much as we can.

Our cargo drop-off counters in Iqaluit and Ottawa are re-opened to receive essential goods. We will continue to prioritize food, medical supplies and other essential goods until such time that we are able to get back to operating at a normal capacity and our cargo backlogs have been cleared. Only shipments containing these essential items will be accepted.

Passenger flights out of Iqaluit continue to operate. We encourage our customers to watch for email updates regarding their flights or contact us directly.

Under the new directions from Nunavut’s Chief Public Health Officer, passengers will require a travel authorization letter from the CPHO to travel to and out of Kinngait.

We sincerely thank our customers for their support and patience as we move through this and provide the services that are essential to your communities while ensuring everyone’s safety.
