Canadian North’s commitment to promoting the culture, people and economic opportunities throughout the North brought us to the Aqsarniit Trade Show & Conference February 17-20.
This Arctic-led event took place in Ottawa, and we were proud to be one of the Official Airline Sponsors, alongside our sister company Air Inuit.
With more 150 exhibitors and 1,000 delegates, the event connected the communities of Inuit Nunangat with each other and with southern business interests, encouraging partnerships between them. Our support helped delegates, exhibitors and attendees get to the show from the Baffin Region with discounted airfare and cargo services.
Our presence at the event reinforced our commitment to economic growth in the region. It also allowed us to celebrate northern culture and showcase tourism and local artists. And we appreciated connecting directly with community members, who enjoyed a taste of our inflight experience with samples of our signature hot chocolate, cookies and pretzels.
